The colour of a tidal river - Hayle

The Hayle River estuary has strong tidal flows as the sea fills and drains a large area through a narrow channel.
These were taken in the early evening in June, near full tide as the tide was going out, and it was just possible to walk from Porth Kidney beach towards the cottage that the painter John Miller used as his studio.
The reflections are mainly of the sky and the sand dunes.
