Lebanon Cedar overhanging Blenheim Palace Park lake

This Cedar or Lebanon overhung the lake in Blenheim Palace Park. The tree itself never changed very much (except when it snowed) as it's evergreen, but the water surface was forever changing.

These images include snow blown across the frozen surface of the lake (bottom right), crested grebes swimming on the surface (middle, second from top), and snow weighing the lower branch down almost out of the picture (top middle).

In about 1998 the tree blew down, and is no more - the lake's still there though!
